How to choose your size?
Mini: For women with special menstrual cup needs, we have developed the MeLuna Mini. The MeLuna Mini is shorter than our standard model, and is available in 2 softness grades, 2 sizes, 4 grip styles and multiple colors. It is designed for women whose vagina is shorter (for example, as a result of uterine prolapse).
S: for women under 20 who have not given birth vaginally. For light flow.
M: for women under 20-25 who have not given birth vaginally. For average flow.
L: for women over 25 or who have given birth vaginally. For average flow.
XL: for women over 30 or who have given birth vaginally, for heavy flow.

In the table under “capacity”. the first number is for the capacity in ml to the holes and the second one to the rim. All of the menstrual cups currently available have a higher capacity than a regular tampon.

About the XL size
Its 42ml of capacity makes it the biggest cup on the market to this day. Could be a life saver for women with a very heavy flow. The 47mm diameter is the same than Yuuki.

How to choose your cup style?
It’s really up to you. Look at the measures and choose your favourite:
• Stem The stem is recommended for women who prefer to wear MeLuna very deep, or whose cervix is positioned very far back in the vagina. Beginners who are anxious about removing MeLuna might prefer the stem grip. By the way – if the stem is too long or bothersome, it can be easily trimmed to your preferred length.
• Ball The ball is our most popular grip style.
• Ring is easy to grasp and can make removal easier, so it is often preferred by beginners.
• Basic has no grip at all, and we recommend this style for only for very experienced users. Insertion and removal require a lot of practice.

The material of the MeLuna Classic has a softness of 40 Shore (a term for describing the flexibility of plastic). A menstrual cup must unfold, or “pop open” completely inside the vagina to form a seal. The cup’s material should be firm enough to unfold inside the vagina while being surrounded by the vaginal muscles, but at the same time the material should not be unpleasantly hard. A menstrual cup should not cause any feeling of pressure when in place. Ideally, a menstrual cup should be soft enough to fold easily, with enough resilience to “pop open” inside the vagina.

MeLuna Classic is the degree of softness suitable for most women:
- Any woman with normally developed musculature
- Any woman with normal sensitivity (no pain or pressure with previous tampon use)

The material of the soft MeLuna has a softness of 30 Shore, and is therefore 25% softer than MeLuna Classic. This material feels very soft and can be compressed quite easily. However, this means that the material does not have as much tension as the MeLuna Classic, and therefore sometimes does not “pop open” inside the vagina as easily. Using a MeLuna Soft usually requires more practice than using the MeLuna Classic.
If the pressure of the vaginal muscles around MeLuna Soft is too strong, there is a risk that the cup will not properly unfold inside the vagina. MeLuna Soft is recommended for women whose pelvic floor muscles may not be quite as strong. Women with normal pelvic musculature should choose MeLuna Classic.

MeLuna Soft was developed for women who are particularly sensitive, and for women whose pelvic floor muscles are less developed:
- Women who find using tampons uncomfortable, causing pressure or pain
- Women who are particularly sensitive to pressure and pain
- Women whose pelvic floor muscles are less developed

MeLuna Sport See product in the shop
They come in four sizes (S, M, L, XL).
All styles are available in one color only blue-violet.

The MeLuna Sport has a softness of 50 Shore, and is therefore 25% more resilient than MeLuna Classic. If you press the cup in your hand, it immediately springs back into shape.
This resilience makes MeLuna Sport a little more difficult to use, but this resilience also means that even under pressure of strong pelvic muscles the cup can unfold perfectly and its seal can stay in place, even under the stress of sport and exercise.
MeLuna Sport is designed for women with strong pelvic floor muscles. Some sports and exercises develop particularly strong pelvic floor muscles, such as yoga, horseback riding, Pilates, Kegel exercises, and pole dancing.

MeLuna Sport is recommended for:
- Women whose athletic fitness is above average
- Women whose pelvic floor muscles are very well toned

MeLuna MINI See product in the shop
The MeLuna MINI is come in 2 sizes (S, M) in Soft an classic.
Style: ball, ring, stem. The basic model (without grip) is available upon request.
available in 2 colors: orange, red

The MeLuna MINI is available in the sizes S and M. The shape is slightly different from the “normal” MeLuna. It is slightly shorter and the bottom of the cup is tapered to a point. Due to the short cone shape it unfolds easily inside the vagina. The removal of the MeLuna MINI might require a little more practice.

We recommend the MeLuna MINI for women whose vagina is very short, or whose cervix is located near the entrance of the vagina. Very slightly built women who have never had sexual intercourse, and women have a uterine prolapse should try the MeLuna MINI.

History of the MeLuna MINI: Before our new volume-optimized MeLuna came on the market, our sizes S and M were made in this shape. Because these cups are shorter, however, the volume capacity was too low for most women, so we developed our new, volume-optimized cups. This original, smaller cup is now the MeLuna MINI.

How much will the shipping cost?
We ship all over the world thru Deutsche post from 2.50€ within Germany, 5.80€ within Europe and 6.80€ for the rest of the world. It usually take only 1 days within Germany, 5 days within Europe and 10 days from the rest of the world.

Why is Meluna is made out of TPE instead of medical grade silicone like the other cups?
Because TPE is more practical and better to process than silicone. These properties help us to keep MeLuna moderate in pricing and allow us to create even more variants of the product. TPE feels smooth, dry and not sticky – meaning it is an all different surface feel (haptics). Many products originally made from latex or silicones are now made of TPE.
The MeLuna material is, among other things, also used for the teats on baby bottles. Regarding the high regulatory requirement for baby products in Germany, you can be assured you are purchasing top quality. You can download our certificates.

MeLuna is produced in Germany, without exception. Every part of the process is being controlled and documented, starting with the arrival of the goods (meaning the delivery of TPE granules from global market leader Kraiburg GmbH) and ending with packing of MeLuna, ready for despatch. These documents can, of course, be inspected. The quality is German TÜV (Technical Inspection Association) and DIN ISO 9001:2000 certified. The plastic material is being processed free of emissions and gentle on resources. The TPE plastic as well as all pigments are approved, harmless substances.

Since MeLuna is not made from silicone, it will not be affected by silicone-based lubricants or fats and oils, like other menstrual cups made from silicone or latex.

Meluna offers a 1 year guarantee. We refund or exchange is the cup is being sent back within 2 weeks in its unopened original packaging. The shipping costs involved is at the charge of the customer.

Please note that the only thing capable of embrittling MeLuna early is UV radiation. At normal storing conditions, nothing will harm MeLuna. For the same reason, MeLuna should not be kept in the blazing sun in summer or at 140°C or above.
